Heathrow Elementary - Keep an eye out for info about our recruitment night at your school! New to Scouts?
Each year in recent memory, Pack 529 has made an annual weekend camping trip to La No Che's Cub-a-Ween. This is one of the most popular pack activities each year. It's a great trip that's a lot of fun and we intend to keep going back year after year. If you haven't been to Cub-a-Ween yet, imagine visiting a Fall Festival during the day and a Haunted campground at night. It's a fun family experience.
This year, Pack 529 has selected October 10-12, 2025 for our Pack to attend Cub-a-Ween. If you can't make it with us, you're welcomed to attend one of the other dates.
Join us at Camp La-No-Che for THE Cub Scout event of the year! Daytime FUN includes a variety of activities from Games, Crafts, Shooting Sports, Swimming, Cotton Candy, Human Hamster Wheel Icees, fall activities, and more!
View Council's event page to view all details and register!
(Select Cub Halloween #1 if you're joining Pack 529.)
Each campsite has enough space for the Pack to set up tents, a central fire pit, and a screened shelter which has electrical outlets and running water at each site. There are bathrooms stationed at each camping site. Each bathroom is a decent size with 2 showers with plenty of hot water, 2 toilets with doors, separate urinals, and two sinks.
All families/individuals are responsible for bringing their own personal items and camping supplies.

All Scouts are required to have BSA Health Forms Parts A & B completed annually. These forms are required for participation in Scouting activities. Please complete and submit both a paper copy and an electronic copy of your Scout's completed forms to our Committee Chair, Samantha Langford. Drop paper copies off in person, and email the electronic copy to her at committeechair@pack529.us. The paper copy will be kept on-site with an adult leader during the campout, and the electronic record will be saved as a backup for the year.
When you attend this campout, you have a few options for meals. You may:
Plan, purchase, supply, prepare, and cook your own meals; or
Purchase meals from Camp La-No-Che's Dining Hall; or
Have Pack 529 plan, purchase, supply, and prepare meals for the Pack (see links below); or
A combination of these options.
Cost for Pack 529 Meals
Camper meal options provided by Pack 529 (see menu) will cost $TBA per person for the whole weekend. If you elect to have Pack 529 supply and prepare your meals, all attending, including scouts and leaders, are responsible for the $TBA per person fee.
Pack 529 will supply and cook all of your meals according to the menu shown. If you have dietary restrictions or food allergies, please be sure to submit the form right away so we can do our best to accommodate those needs.
