• Training and Resources: In the Trail's End app, visit the Training & Resources section for helpful videos and tips. Before selling, practice your sales pitch and review the Safety & Selling Tips. 

• Attire: Wear Class A uniforms for all fundraising activities.

• Behavior: Represent Scouting by living the Scout Oath, Scout Law, and Outdoor Code throughout all fundraising activities. 

• Safety: Follow all Safe Scouting guidelines during fundraising activities. 

• Supplies: A parent or guardian must download and use the Trail's End app, as all sales and payment processing are completed through the app. Be sure your phone is fully charged and has network access. For storefront sales, all other supplies and products will be provided.

Scouts build skills and also earn rewards along the way!

• Individual Scout Account (ISA): Scouts may earn up to 30% of the Pack's net commission from their sales, which will be allocated to their Individual Scout Account (ISA). The Pack's commission is 35% from storefront and wagon sales, and 30% for online sales. The Scout's receives 30% of the Pack's net commission from their own sales. ISA funds can be used toward approved Scouting-related expesnses, such as Pack Dues, camping fees, and more!

• Gift Cards: Trail's End rewards Scouts with electronic gift cards as they reach various sales milestones.

• Top Seller Party: The Central Florida Council hosts a Top Seller Party at Camp La-No-Che for Scouts who sell $1,750 or more during the popcorn sale.

What It Is

Our pack has arranged to sell popcorn at local businesses on select dates and times. Each storefront shift is 2 hours and requires two Scouts, each accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The Scouts and their families work together as a team, and all sales made during the shift are divided equally between the participating Scouts.

How to Sign Up

Sign up for storefront shifts in the Storefronts section of the Trail's End app. The app is also used to record sales and process payments.

Each storefront shift requires:

• Two Scouts

• One parent or guardian for each Scout

• A full 2-hour commitment

When selecting a shift, please help us avoid gaps in the schedule by choosing time slots adjacent to existing sign-ups whenever possible.

Before Your Shift

• Arrive at least 5 minutes early.

• Use the restroom before your shift begins.

• Bring water and sun protection.

• Wear your Class A uniform.

During Your Shift

• Be respectful of the hosting business: Do not block entrances or exits, use their carts or products, and avoid standing in front of automatic doors or interfering with normal business operations.

• Greet and thank everyone, regardless of whether or not they make a purchase or donation.

What It Is

Wagon sales give Scouts the opportunity to sell popcorn to their family and friends, in their neighborhoods, or anywhere appropriate outside of scheduled storefront locations. Scouts use the Trail's End app to record sales and process payments.

Scouts may participate in wagon with or without inventory at the time of sale.

How It Works

Scouts Without Inventory

Scouts may take orders through the Trail's End app without carrying product. Orders will be filled and distributed during a regular meeting night. Scouts and their families are responsible for delivering the products to their customers and marking each order as delivered in the app.

Scouts With Inventory

Pending availability, Scouts may check out popcorn inventory to sell immediately while going door-to-door or using a wagon. Products are delivered to the customer at the time of sale, and the order should be marked as delivered in the Trail's End app.

Before You Sell

• Wear your Class A uniform.

• Review the Safety & Selling Tips in the Trail's End app.

• Bring a fully charged phone with the Trail's End app installed and network access.

• Bring water and dress appropriately for the weather.

• Always have a parent or guardian accompany the Scout during wagon sales.

What It Is

Online sales allow Scouts to sell Trail's End popcorn to family, friends, and supporters anywhere in the country by sharing their personal Trail's End online store.

Customers place their orders online, and Trail's End ships the products directly to them, making online sales a great option for reaching supporters who don't live nearby.

How It Works

Each Scout receives a personalized online storefront sales page through Trail's End.

Scouts can share their online store by:

• Text message

• Email

• Social media

• QR code

• A direct link

All online orders are processed through the Trail's End website, and products are shipped directly to the customer. Scouts do not need to deliver online orders.

Please Note: Trail's End may offer additional products through the online store that are not available in our local inventory. Shipping of chocolate products will likely be delayed. Chocolate products are shipped only when Trail's End determines that weather conditions along the shipping route are cool enough to prevent melting during transit.
