2025 Holiday Bake-off
Who: All of Pack 529 and their families
When: Monday, December 15, 2025 from 6:45pm to 8pm
Arrival Time: Volunteers: Please see your specific task time on the signup sheet.
The rest of the Pack: Arrive with your baked goods between 6:30pm and 6:45pm to submit your entries for judging.
Where: Neighborhood Alliance Church
Attire: Wear festive holiday clothing and accessories if you'd like

Overall Information
We need parent volunteers to help make this event special. Please sign up for a task.
There is a competition element to the bake-off. Everyone is welcome to bring in a baked good but only homemade scout-created submissions will be judged. Please enter your Scout's submission for one (1) of the submission categories in advance of the event. Please see the specific rules and judging/submission categories below.
Please be sure that all submissions are BITE SIZED portions, as this event involves a sampling of all the submissions. Submissions that are larger may need photographing so that we can show it before its lovingly destroyed (i.e. portioned into bite-sized pieces).
Bake-off Rules
Scouts need to be heavily involved in the creation of the bake-off goodies; parents/guardians are assistants. This is not a solo parent/guardian project.
The following ingredients cannot be included or used at all: no nuts whatsoever, this includes nuts, nut flours, nut extracts or flavoring, coconuts, etc.
There must be a baked component in all submissions, and all items need to be homemade.
No store bought items can be entered into the bake-off. Pre-baked goodies cannot be used as ingredients or as the basis of your entry.
No foul play. This is a good, clean, fun, and friendly competition.
Competition Categories
Entries into the holiday bake-off will be submitted for judging. Scouts who enter will be eligible to be judged for possible awards.
The award categories are:
Best Scout themed (voted on by scouts)
Best Holiday themed (voted on by scouts)
Best Tasting (voted on by scouts)
Best Overall (voted on by parent/guardians only)
