Pack 529 Spring Campout

Pack 529 is excited to offer a different campout this spring just for our Pack! More details are coming soon!
Dates & Times:
Campout dates: Friday 3/27/2025 to Sunday 3/29/2025. At this time, this is a full weekend campout.
Check-in: Friday evening beginning at 5pm
Check-out: Sunday morning before 10am
Campout Details:
Campground: Lake Mills Park (Park Map) - Campsites 4, 5 & 6
Activities include: Campfire, fishing, and more! There are two opportunities for elective adventures (fishing and camping) to be completed. More information to come as planning is ongoing.
Cost & What's Included:
Weekend camping cost: $17.50 per person for each adult, Scout, and sibling over age 4
What's included: Campsite costs, food, and activity supplies

Health & Safety:
From Pack 529: All campers (Scouts, adults, family members) must have current BSA Health Forms Parts A & B and Food Allergies & Dietary Restrictions Form completed and submitted in advance of the campout. See our Health & Safety page for these forms.
Campout Planning
Lake Mills Park campsites are primitive campsites, meaning there are no water or electricity hookups directly at the campsites. The campground does have centralized water fountains, bathrooms, and wash stations for the campsites to use. The Pack will be providing campfire and cooking supplies.
Family Packing
All families/individuals are responsible for bringing their own personal items, camping supplies, and refillable water bottle.

For this campout, if you have them, it is recommended that you bring: fishing pole(s) and gear for your family

Have Pack 529 plan, purchase, supply, and prepare meals for the Pack (see menu below) or

Pack 529 is has specific volunteer needs. A signup sheet has been created. Please check with Pack Leaders for information.
Volunteers: A campout planning meeting is scheduled for Wednesday 3/11/2026 at 7pm via Google Meet.
Please make every effort to attend the meeting.
