Important Notice: Pack 529 will not be going to the Spring Family Cuboree as a pack this year. Instead, Pack 529 will be hosting our own pack campout March 28-30 at Lake Mills Park. Any Pack members who would like to attend the Spring Family Cuboree at Camp La-No-Che are welcomed to, but you will need to arrange your campsite, food, etc. on your own. The information provided on the remainder of this page is being provided as a courtesy only.
Scouting and Earth Day - what a great combination! Earth Day aligns with Scouting’s Outdoor Code which promotes the idea of respecting & protecting the natural environment by encouraging responsible behavior outdoors. This includes “being clean in your outdoor manners, careful with fire, considerate of others, & conservation-minded” It is essentially leaving no trace & minimizing impact on the land & wildlife making this a great combination to enjoy the outdoors while learning to take the greatest of care of it!
Activities include: Canoeing, hiking, Earth Day activities, and special guests. More information to come as planning is ongoing.
